Our Ministries

Kid's

Ministry

We believe that all children have been given a free gift of salvation by grace through faith in Christ. As a result, one of our core values is sharing this Good News of Christ with every child that we encounter!  Every Sunday morning we have the opportunity to disciple our young people in Bible classes for ages 3yrs. - 6th grade at 12:00 noon.

Junior and Senior High Sunday Mornings
All of us are part of a story. The story of how Jesus has redeemed you is what we want you to hear and experience.  Hear and experience the story God has written for you every Sunday morning in the youth room at 12:00 noon.

Teenage Group

Youth Time @ 4:30-6:00 PM, 2nd Sunday of each month
7th - 12th graders:  At Youth Time, students will have the opportunity to gather together, discuss God's word, and support each other in their walk with Christ.  We will meet at church for games and fellowship.  There will also be times we meet off church campus.  See the events calendar for the location and time!

Junior High Confirmation
As Christians we are always under construction constantly growing in our faith in Christ. This is a time where students who are typically in 7th-8th grade will learn the basics of the Christian faith in an engaging and practical way. Teaching will occur in both large and small group settings. Confirmation is a vital part in the life of the students here at Holy Cross. We look forward to you being part of the Confirmation!

Mission Statement: The mission of the Lutheran Women's Missionary League is to assist each woman of The Lutheran Church -- Missouri Synod in affirming her relationship with the Triune God so that she is enabled to use her gifts in ministry to the people of the world.

Motto: "Serve the Lord with gladness." Psalm 100:2

The League Pledge: In fervent gratitude for the Savior's dying love and His blood-bought gift of redemption, we dedicate ourselves to Him with all that we are and have, and in obedience to His call for workers in the harvest fields. We pledge Him our willing service wherever and whenever He hath need of us. We consecrate to our Savior our hands to work for Him, our feet to go on His errands, our voice to sing His praises, our lips to proclaim His redeeming love, our silver and our gold to extend His kingdom, our will to do His will, and every power of our life to the great task of bringing the lost and erring into eternal fellowship with Him. Amen.

Primary Goals For LWML:

Nurturing Faith in Christ - LWML is committed to helping every woman find personal opportunities in her daily life and in her congregation to be nurtured in faith in Jesus Christ and empowered by the Holy Spirit to discover her unique gifts and value in God's family.

Making Our Mission Meaningful - LWML challenges and equips women of all ages, stages, ethnicities, and experiences to make a meaningful difference in the lives of hurting, helpless, and unbelieving people at home and throughout the world.

Sharing Encouragement - We believe that women value the friendship, support, and encouragement from other women and strive to offer warm, welcoming opportunities for women to grow in faith and relationships as sisters in Christ.

LWML Mission Projects -  LWML mission projects are funded through volunteer contributions.  There are many opportunties for everyone to help LWML Follow Jesus and Reach the World through monthly projects.  Each supporter of the LWML may also place monetary gifts into an LWML Mite Box as a thank offering to God.  Contributions are collected and sent to the LWML district office.
